Consilio’s Direct Hire Division is seeking an experienced Patent Paralegal to join a leading law firm, supporting U.S. and international patent filings in a fast‑paced, collaborative IP practice.

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, file, and manage legal documents with the USPTO and international patent offices (including WIPO) for PCT and national‑stage applications.
- Stay current on filing requirements for the USPTO and foreign patent offices.
- Correspond with foreign counsel and, under attorney guidance, provide instructions for international applications, registrations, renewals, notices, affidavits, declarations, and other required documentation to ensure compliance with jurisdictional rules.
- Prepare and file Information Disclosure Statements, including reviewing patent families, preparing formal documents and citation forms, managing foreign and non‑patent literature references, and submitting filings to the USPTO.
- Complete client checklists to confirm all required documents and procedural steps are satisfied.
- Follow IP Practice Group procedures and record‑keeping policies, including use of NetDocuments for document management.
- Communicate directly with clients and attorneys regarding patent matters, including due‑date notifications, obtaining signatures and documentation, and providing status updates.
- Use CPi docketing software and review reports generated from CPi.
- Assist attorneys in preparing for meetings, hearings, and mediations.
- Proofread attorney‑prepared documents for accuracy and completeness.
- Accurately record billable time and enter descriptions into the time and billing system in a timely manner.
Job Requirements
- Associate degree or Bachelor’s degree
- Minimum 3 years of Patent Paralegal experience.
- Prior experience with docketing software; CPi and PracticeLink experience preferred.

- Work schedule: 4 days remote / 1 day onsite
- Compensation: $75,000 - $110,000 (DOE)
- Annual billable requirement: 1,600 hours
Pay: $75,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
