Our organization is seeking to hire a paralegal to join our legal department in the entertainment industry. You will be supporting two attorneys and joining one supervising paralegal in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, and will be expected to manage administrative tasks, including organizing and maintaining files, as well as to assist with substantive transactional work, including brand protection, research, contract drafting, and other meaningful legal assistance.
Responsibilities:
- Organizing and maintaining documents in a paper and electronic filing system.
- Assisting in drafting legal documents, including a variety of contracts.
- Coordinating with other company departments to facilitate contract delivery, invoicing, and the like.
- Maintaining and analyzing internal trademark and other brand protection calendars.
- Reviewing and summarizing brand protection reports, including marketplace counterfeit
analysis, trademark filing review, etc.
- Assisting with enforcement of intellectual property by supervising enforcement by outside vendors.
- Assisting in contract finalization and facilitating digital and physical contract signatures.
- Assisting in drafting and managing corporate compliance documents for LLCs and corporations.
- Conducting research on various legal matters.
- Participating and assisting on regular meetings and calls with outside counsel regarding a variety of corporate, intellectual property, litigation, and other matters.
Experience and Skills:
- Paralegal Certificate from an ABA approved program.
- At least 1-2 years of law firm or corporate experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- A strong respect for, and understanding of, high levels of confidentiality.
- Discipline, focus, and attention to detail in a dynamic and quick-moving environment.
- Ability to remain focused and composed under pressure.
- Ability to quickly adapt in a dynamic environment, manage time-sensitive projects, multi-task, and prioritize tasks.
- Strong oral and written communication skills, and an ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
