As the Contract Administrator, you will take ownership of all contract and subcontract documentation across active mechanical/HVAC construction projects. This individual will play a critical role in ensuring contracts are properly structured, executed, and maintained while supporting compliance and risk mitigation efforts.
- Draft, review, and manage contracts, subcontracts, and change orders
- Act as a key liaison between project managers, accounting, and subcontractors
- Oversee the full contract lifecycle from negotiation through project closeout
- Track insurance certificates, lien releases, bonds, and compliance documentation
- Maintain contract database and monitor key deadlines, renewals, and deliverables
- Support billing processes including requisitions, lien waivers, and payment applications
- Partner with leadership to enhance contract processes and risk management strategies
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Construction Management, Paralegal Studies, or related field
- 3–5+ years of contract administration experience within construction or HVAC/mechanical contracting
- Strong knowledge of construction contracts, subcontracts, and change orders
- Experience with lien waivers, insurance documentation, and compliance tracking
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and systems such as Procore, Sage, or QuickBooks
- Paralegal certification or similar credentials
- Strong negotiation and analytical skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects/contracts in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Competitive base salary: $80K – $100K
