Summary:
Wood Herron & Evans LLP is seeking a Patent Attorney with an Electrical Engineering / Physics background for a position in its Electrical patent preparation and prosecution practice.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare patent applications.
- Evaluate and respond to office actions (US and international).
- Opinion work.
- Participate in client and Patent Examiner interviews.
- Conduct legal research,
- Be exposed to litigation activities as well as other activities/projects.
Qualifications:
Our ideal candidate will have the following:
- Three (3) or more years' patent preparation and prosecution experience required.
- JD from accredited law school required.
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or Physics (or related) required.
- Admission to the United States Patent & Trademark Office (USPTO) and /or the State of Ohio Bar (other state registrations will be considered).
Required licenses or certifications:
