LHH is looking for a Commercial Litigation (Defense) Paralegal in Chicago for a hybrid role
Compensation
- Base salary: $70,000-$80,000, depending on experience
Team Structure
- Join a team of 12 attorneys and 2 full-time paralegals
- This is a newly added position due to increased workload
- Report to and receive training from two senior paralegals
Billable Hours
- No formal billable hour requirement
- Some tasks are billable
- Training provided on time entry and billing practices
Preferred Background
- Commercial litigation experience strongly preferred
- Defense-side experience highly valued
Key Responsibilities
- E-filing in state and federal courts
- Utilizing PACER for federal filings and research
- Managing documents within document management systems
- Assisting with document productions
- Handling service and tracking of subpoenas
