The Role
You will advise clients on a broad range of trademark and brand protection matters while working closely with experienced partners and clients across a variety of industries.
Trademark Prosecution & Portfolio Management
- Managing domestic and international trademark portfolios
- Conducting trademark clearance searches and risk assessments
- Preparing and prosecuting trademark applications
- Advising clients on brand strategy, protection, and portfolio development
- Coordinating international trademark filings and foreign counsel relationships
Brand Protection & Enforcement
- Advising clients on trademark enforcement strategies
- Managing cease-and-desist matters and infringement disputes
- Handling domain name disputes and online brand protection issues
- Supporting clients in protecting valuable intellectual property assets
Litigation & Dispute Resolution
- Assisting with trademark litigation matters in federal court
- Representing clients before the TTAB
- Supporting enforcement and dispute resolution strategies
- Collaborating with litigation teams on complex intellectual property matters
Strategic IP Counseling
- Advising clients on trademark, branding, and intellectual property issues
- Supporting business initiatives involving brand expansion and protection
- Providing practical, commercially focused legal advice
- Developing trusted relationships with clients and colleagues
What We're Looking For
- Ideally, 2–5 years of trademark prosecution and/or enforcement experience
- Experience managing domestic and international trademark matters
- Trademark clearance and counseling experience
- Experience with trademark disputes, TTAB proceedings, or litigation matters
- Excellent attention to detail and commercial judgment
- Ability to manage matters independently while collaborating effectively with colleagues
