Our client has an immediate opening for an experienced Intellectual Property Patent Paralegal to support their Chemical Sciences Practice Group. Interested candidates should have 5+ years of IP patent prosecution experience supporting pharmaceutical portfolios and university clients, with comprehensive knowledge of USPTO, PCT, and international patent rules and procedures. The incoming paralegal will play a critical role in managing global patent dockets and prosecution practices for assigned client portfolios, coordinating complex international filings across multiple jurisdictions, and ensuring compliance with patent office requirements.
Core responsibilities include managing docket and patent prosecution practices for assigned global client portfolios, reviewing and filing patent applications with the USPTO and WIPO, preparing and filing multiple patent application types, coordinating international patent filings, preparing and filing prosecution documents including Notice to File Missing Parts, Foreign Signature Documents, responses to Office Actions, and preparing and maintaining detailed status reports for clients.
